Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and what this agreement is

This site is operated by Open Standard LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). Our postal address is Open Standard LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.

We do not hold a licence from a gambling regulator. We offer this site only where it is lawful to offer it, and we do not offer it in the places listed in section 2. Nothing on this site should be read as a statement that a regulator supervises it.

These terms are a binding agreement between you and us. By creating an account, depositing, or placing a bet, you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You may hold an account only if all of the following are true.

• You are at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority in the place you are in. Where those differ, the higher one applies to you.
• You are not resident in, and are not accessing the site from, any of these places: Australia, Austria, the Comoros, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, or Saint Kitts and Nevis. The same applies to any country that the Financial Action Task Force has placed on its list of high-risk jurisdictions subject to a call for action.
• You are acting on your own behalf, and not on behalf of anybody else.
• You are not prohibited from gambling by any law that applies to you, by a self-exclusion you have registered with any operator or scheme, or by a court order.
• You have not previously had an account with us closed for a breach of these terms.

You are responsible for knowing whether online gambling is lawful where you are. We do not give that advice, and our accepting your registration is not a statement that it is lawful for you.

We may read your approximate location from your connection and refuse access from the places above. Whether or not we check, the rule applies to you, and using a VPN, a proxy or any similar service to disguise where you are is a breach of these terms.

We do not check identity documents when you sign up on this site, and we do not ask for your date of birth here. By creating an account you confirm that you meet the age rule above. An account we find to be held by somebody under age is closed immediately. Deposits are returned and winnings are void.

3. Your account

An account is opened with an email address and a password. You must give an email address that belongs to you and that you can receive mail at, because it is how we confirm your account, reset your password, and authorise every withdrawal.

You must keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for everything done through your account while your password is valid, unless you have told us it may be compromised and we have had a reasonable opportunity to act. You can add an authenticator app as a second factor from your security settings where that option is shown.

One person, one account. If we find that one person holds more than one account, we may close the additional accounts, void bets placed on them, and withhold the balance pending a review.

You must give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Giving false information is a breach of these terms, and it is also the fastest way to make a withdrawal impossible. We will not pay to a wallet we cannot associate with you.

4. Verification, and when we will ask for it

We may ask you at any time to verify your identity, your age, the ownership of a wallet, and the source of the funds you are playing with. We will ask when a withdrawal is held for review under section 7, and where anything about the account gives us reason to.

We ask by email, and we tell you what we need and why. Until a verification we have asked for is complete, we may hold a withdrawal, suspend play, or both.

If you cannot or will not verify, we may close the account. Where we do, we will return the balance to the extent we are lawfully permitted to, minus any amount that is the subject of a live investigation.

5. Deposits, and what a blockchain does not let us undo

This site takes deposits in cryptocurrency only. There is no card payment, no bank transfer and no cash. The assets and networks we accept are the ones shown in the cashier. When you ask to deposit, we give you an address on the network you chose. A transfer to that address is credited to your balance once the network reports it as final, and the cashier shows the expected wait for each network.

The following are consequences of how public blockchains work, and none of them is something we can reverse.

• A transfer sent on the wrong network, or in an asset we do not support on that network, may be unrecoverable. We will make reasonable efforts to recover it where recovery is technically possible, and we may charge the cost of doing so.
• A transfer sent to an address we did not give you may be unrecoverable.
• A very small transfer may be uneconomic to credit, because the network fee to move it can exceed the amount.
• A transaction reversed by the network is reversed on your balance too.
• A token that migrates to a new contract, or is delisted by the network, may stop being supported. Where that happens we will publish how to move a balance out, and how long there is to do it.
• Network fees are charged by the network, not by us, and we do not receive them.

Balances are held by us for you. They are a record of what we owe you, denominated in the asset you deposited. They are not a deposit with a bank, they are not insured, and they do not earn interest.

The value of a cryptocurrency balance moves with the market. We do not protect you from that, and a fall in the value of your balance is not a loss we compensate. Any figure we show in dollars is a reference, not a promise. Your balance is the asset you deposited. We do not convert one asset into another for you.

If you deposit while your account is suspended or closed, we will credit it and return it to you once the reason for the suspension is resolved. We do not keep it.

6. Bets

A bet is accepted when our servers record it, and not when your browser shows it. A bet that our servers have not recorded has not been placed, whatever the screen said.

Once accepted, a bet cannot be cancelled or changed by you. Bets are settled from your balance at the moment they are accepted. Each game shows the smallest and largest stake it accepts.

MALFUNCTION VOIDS ALL PAYS AND PLAY. If a game, a server or a network fault produces a result that the published rules and published maths of the game do not produce, the affected round is void, the stake is returned, and any amount credited in error is reclaimed. This applies whether the fault favoured you or us. Where an amount credited in error has been withdrawn, it is a debt owed to us.

7. Withdrawals

You may withdraw an available balance to a wallet address you control on a network we support. Every withdrawal is authorised by a one-time code we send to the email address on your account, and by your authenticator app if you have enabled one. A withdrawal cannot be made without the code.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ADDRESS YOU GIVE US. A withdrawal sent to an address you typed or pasted incorrectly is gone, and we cannot recover it. Check the address, and check the network.

The minimum withdrawal is 5 US dollars in value, and a flat fee of 1 US dollar in value is deducted from every withdrawal on every network. Both figures are shown in the cashier before you enter an amount. You receive the amount you entered minus the fee.

Withdrawals of less than 1,000 US dollars in value are normally sent automatically. A withdrawal of 1,000 US dollars or more, or one that would take your withdrawals in the last 24 hours past 1,000 US dollars, is held and reviewed by a person before it is sent. On a busy day we may also hold smaller withdrawals for review. A held withdrawal is either sent or returned to your balance, and we will tell you which.

We may delay or refuse a withdrawal where any of the following applies.

• A verification we have asked for under section 4 is outstanding.
• We are investigating a suspected breach of these terms.
• We are required to by law or by an order of a competent authority.
• The destination address is not one we can associate with you, or is associated with an address we have screened as high risk.

We do not pay to a wallet that is not yours. Where we can establish that a destination belongs to somebody else, we will refuse it.

8. Fairness and the games

Our own games ("Originals") are provably fair. Each result is derived from a server seed, a client seed you control, and a nonce. We show you a fingerprint of the server seed before you bet, we reveal the seed when you rotate it, and anybody can recompute the result from the three values. The verifier on this site runs that computation in your own browser.

Slots on this site have a published paytable. The verifier checks that your seeds produced the result you were shown and that you were paid exactly what the paytable says for it. It does not audit whether the paytable adds up to the return we state, and it does not check the reels. Records used by the verifier are not kept forever, so save a copy of anything you may want to dispute later.

Every game on this site is set to return at least 99 percent of what is staked to players over the long run. Where the site offers a personal return rate above that floor, the return page in your account explains how it is calculated and when it applies.

Nothing about a provably fair result changes the fact that these games have a house edge and that, played long enough, they lose money. Provable fairness means the result was not tampered with. It does not mean the game is favourable.

9. Games you create

This site lets you describe and publish a slot game. What you create is yours. By publishing it you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, operate and promote it on this site for as long as it is published, and to keep archival copies afterwards for the records we are required to keep.

You must not publish anything that does any of the following.

• Infringes the copyright, trademark or other right of anybody.
• Depicts a real person without their permission, or a child in any context.
• Is unlawful, hateful, or designed to harass.
• Imitates another operator, brand or game closely enough to mislead a player about who made it or where they are.

We may refuse to publish, or may unpublish, anything at our discretion. A game that has been played cannot have its results retrospectively changed, so unpublishing removes it from the site and does not void rounds already settled.

A game published by another player is not endorsed by us. Its maths is checked against the platform rules before it is served, which is a statement about the maths and not about anything else.

10. Bonuses and promotions

Where we offer a bonus, the terms of that specific offer apply in addition to these terms, and they say what has to happen before the bonus or anything won from it can be withdrawn.

The following are breaches, and we may void the bonus, void bets placed with it, and reclaim anything paid out on it.

• Opening more than one account to claim an offer more than once.
• Acting together with other players to claim offers, or playing in a coordinated way designed to extract a bonus rather than to play the game.
• Placing bets whose pattern is designed to clear a wagering requirement at minimal risk rather than to play, for example covering both sides of an even-money bet.
• Depositing and withdrawing without meaningful play in order to qualify.

We will not void a bonus for a player who simply won. Winning is what the game is for. The clauses above are about play whose purpose is not the game.

11. Responsible gambling

You can stop your own play at any time, for a period from 24 hours to indefinitely, from your account security settings. A break takes effect immediately. It cannot be shortened or cancelled once it has started, and it can only be extended.

While a break is running, this account cannot place a bet and we will not issue it a new deposit address. You can still sign in, see your balance and withdraw it.

You can also set wager limits, loss limits and deposit limits from the same page. A tighter limit applies immediately. A looser one waits 24 hours. Our Responsible Gambling Policy says exactly how each control works and which of them the software enforces.

12. Conduct we will close an account for

We may suspend or close an account, void bets, and withhold a balance pending investigation, where we reasonably believe any of the following.

• The account is being used to launder money, or with funds from crime.
• The account holder is under 18, or is playing from a place listed in section 2.
• The account is one of several held by one person, or is being operated by somebody other than its holder.
• Software, automation or a defect in a game is being used to obtain a result the game would not otherwise produce.
• A chargeback, reversal or double-spend has been attempted.
• Information we were given at registration or at verification is false.

Where we close an account for one of these reasons, we return the balance to the extent we are lawfully able to. Where a balance is the proceeds of the conduct itself, we do not.

13. Inactive accounts

We do not close inactive accounts and we do not charge a fee on an account that is not used. Your balance stays yours for as long as the account exists.

If that ever changes, the fee will be stated here as a number before it is charged, we will write to the email address on your account first, and no fee will ever be applied to a balance that accrued before it was published.

14. Availability, and limits on our liability

We do not promise the site will be available without interruption. We maintain it, we deploy to it, and services it depends on, including public blockchains and their nodes, are outside our control.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss. We are not liable for a loss caused by your own error, including sending funds to a wrong address or on a wrong network. We are not liable for a fall in the market value of a cryptocurrency.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the balance on your account at the time the liability arose and the amount you deposited in the twelve months before it.

15. Complaints and disputes

1. Write to SUPPORT_EMAIL from the email address on your account and tell us what happened. We will acknowledge within a working day and give a substantive answer as quickly as we can.
2. If our answer does not resolve it, say so and ask for it to be escalated. We will review it independently of whoever answered first.
3. If it is still unresolved, either of us may take it to court as set out below. There is no independent dispute body for this site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that we cannot resolve with you directly will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you agree to that venue.

Our records of bets, balances and transactions are the primary evidence of what happened, other than where you can show they are wrong. For our own games the result is independently recomputable by you from the seed triple, and we will provide the values needed to do so.

16. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Where a change is material and adverse to you, we will tell you before it takes effect and you may close your account and withdraw your balance if you do not accept it.

A change never applies retrospectively to a bet already settled or a withdrawal already requested.

17. If an account holder dies

A balance does not disappear because the person who owns it has died. It becomes part of their estate.

Write to SUPPORT_EMAIL with the account email address. We will suspend the account so nothing further can be staked, and tell you what we need. Normally that is a death certificate and evidence that you are entitled to deal with the estate.

We will pay the balance to the estate once we are satisfied of both. We will not disclose the bet history to anybody who is not entitled to it, and we will not reopen the account for use.

We can only pay to a wallet address the person handling the estate gives us and controls. Neither we nor anybody else can recover funds from a wallet whose key was known only to the person who died. That is a fact about how cryptography works, not a policy of ours.

18. General

SEVERABILITY. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply and the unenforceable part is read as narrowly as it needs to be to become enforceable.

ASSIGNMENT. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms to anybody. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over this business, and your rights are unaffected if we do.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT. These terms, together with the policies they link to and the terms of any promotion you accept, are the whole agreement between us.

WAIVER. If we do not enforce a right on one occasion, that is not a decision to give it up.

FORCE MAJEURE. We are not liable for a failure to perform caused by something outside our reasonable control, including the failure of a public blockchain, a network outage, or an act of a government.

LANGUAGE. These terms are written in English. Where a translation is provided for convenience and the two differ, the English version is the one that applies.

NOTICES. We write to the email address on your account. It is your responsibility to keep it current and to read what we send.
